AstralPool – Replacement Motor TIES 80 for Glass Plus SS 1.5HP Pump

The AstralPool TIES 80 is the genuine OEM replacement electric motor for the AstralPool Glass Plus SS 1.5HP single-phase pump (parent SKU 15244). Listed at position 24 in the official Fluidra exploded view, this motor is the heart of the pump assembly — restoring full circulation performance when the original motor fails or is damaged.

Compatibilité

This motor is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Glass Plus SS 1.5HP Phase II pump (parent SKU 15244). Always cross-reference your pump’s model label and the official Fluidra exploded view before ordering to ensure an exact fit. Using the wrong motor frame can result in misalignment or pump damage.

Pourquoi l'authenticité est importante

As a genuine AstralPool part, the TIES 80 motor meets the original IP-55 protection rating, shielding internal windings from moisture and dust in demanding poolside environments. It includes built-in single-phase thermal protection, which automatically cuts power if the motor overheats — safeguarding both the motor and your pump body from costly secondary damage. Aftermarket alternatives cannot guarantee these protection standards or dimensional tolerances.

Installation

Motor replacement on the Glass Plus SS pump requires disconnecting mains power, draining the pump, and transferring the impeller and shaft seal from the old motor to the new unit. Due to the electrical and mechanical precision involved, installation by a qualified pool technician or electrician is strongly recommended. Refer to the official Fluidra exploded view (position 24) for torque and assembly guidance.
