This is the genuine OEM ambient temperature probe pipe for the AquaForte Full Inverter Heat Pump 9.5 kW (model SC982). It houses and protects the ambient air temperature sensor, which the heat pump’s inverter control board uses to continuously monitor outdoor air conditions. Without an accurate ambient temperature reading, the unit cannot optimally regulate compressor speed, defrost cycles, or overall heating efficiency.
