This is the genuine Zodiac replacement gas return piping for the Zodiac Heat Pump PX50 (model WH000433). It forms part of the internal refrigerant circuit, routing low-pressure refrigerant gas back to the compressor after it has passed through the evaporator — a critical component for maintaining the sealed integrity and thermal efficiency of the heat pump’s refrigeration cycle. It corresponds to position 48 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram.

This gas return piping is engineered specifically for the Zodiac Heat Pump PX50 — model reference WH000433. The PX50 is a full-inverter pool heat pump covering pools from 35 m³ up to 150 m³, with output ranging from 6.3 kW to 24 kW. Always verify your unit’s model reference before ordering, as refrigerant circuit components are not interchangeable across different PX50 variants.

Refrigerant circuit piping must meet precise dimensional and pressure tolerances to maintain a leak-free system. Using a genuine Zodiac OEM part ensures the correct material specification, wall thickness, and connection geometry — reducing the risk of refrigerant leaks, preserving COP efficiency, and keeping your unit compliant with EU refrigerant handling regulations (EU 517/2014). Substituting non-OEM components in a sealed refrigerant circuit can void the unit warranty and may be illegal without certified handling.

Work on the refrigerant circuit of a heat pump — including removal or replacement of gas return piping — must be carried out by a qualified technician holding a valid F-Gas certification. The system must be fully recovered and depressurised before any piping is disturbed. Refer to the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram (position 48) for the exact routing and connection points specific to the WH000433.
