This is the genuine Astralpool replacement filter base for the Stainless Steel Filter D.350, part of the 05559 series covering diameters 350, 450, 500 and 600 mm. It forms the structural lower section of the filter vessel, providing a stable, watertight foundation that supports the entire filtration assembly. Replacing a damaged or corroded base with an original OEM part restores the filter to full factory specification.

This filter base is designed specifically for the AstralPool Stainless Steel Filter D.350 (parent product ref. 05559). It corresponds to position 18 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for that series. Always verify your filter’s diameter and parent SKU (05559) before ordering, as bases for the D.450, D.500 and D.600 variants are separate parts.

As an original Astralpool/Fluidra spare part, this base is manufactured to the same tolerances and material standards as the component it replaces. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion from pool water and backwash cycles, ensuring long service life and maintaining the pressure rating of the filter vessel. Aftermarket alternatives may not meet these specifications, risking leaks or structural failure under operating pressure.

The filter base should be fitted by a qualified pool technician, as installation requires draining and depressurising the filter, correctly torquing all fastenings, and pressure-testing the vessel before returning it to service. Refer to the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram (position 18, ref. 05559) to confirm correct orientation and associated seals or gaskets required for a complete repair.
