This is the SKF 6203-2RSH deep-groove ball bearing specified for the motor shaft in the Kripsol Koral and Mini Kapri pool pump family, covering the 1.5–2 CV (hp) output range. It replaces Kripsol OEM reference 10002561 and is the exact bearing the motor relies on to spin its shaft without friction, play, or vibration. Two rubber seals on both faces lock in the factory grease and block water ingress from the wet end of the pump.

The 6203-2RSH sits on the motor shaft, taking the combined radial and light axial loads generated as the impeller draws water under pressure. Without a serviceable bearing, the shaft runs metal-on-metal, heat builds rapidly, and motor failure follows. The double rubber seal (2RSH designation) is essential in pool-pump duty: it withstands splash and humidity while retaining the grease charge that keeps the rolling elements lubricated throughout the season.

This bearing is specified for the Kripsol Koral and Mini Kapri pump family in the 1.5–2 CV (horsepower) output range. Cross-reference the OEM number 10002561 against your pump’s parts diagram before ordering if you are unsure which bearing position is at fault — some motor frames carry a second, different bearing at the opposite shaft end.

A grinding, rumbling, or high-pitched whine from the motor that is absent on first start but worsens as the pump warms up is the primary indicator of bearing wear. Visible corrosion on the outer race, any perceptible shaft wobble when the motor is off and the impeller is turned by hand, or a seized shaft that trips the motor’s thermal overload are all grounds for immediate replacement. Do not run the pump with a failed bearing — shaft imbalance damages the mechanical seal and can score the motor housing irreparably.

Isolate power at the breaker before starting. Drain and remove the motor from the pump body, then use a bearing puller or two-jaw extractor to draw the worn bearing cleanly off the shaft — never drive it off with a hammer directly on the race. Press or gently drift the new 6203-2RSH onto the shaft, applying force only to the inner race. Refit the motor end-cover, reconnect the pump body, and run for two minutes at low load while checking for noise before returning to normal operation. Replace both shaft bearings if the motor has been running rough — pairing a new bearing with a worn one shortens the service life of both.
