Rated to a robust 30 bar working pressure and a maximum temperature of 120 °C, this Profec brass hose tail adaptor bridges a 1″ male BSP thread to a 20 mm hose tail in a compact 50 mm body length. It is the go-to transition fitting wherever pool pipework, pump connections, or pressurised water systems require a secure, leak-free joint between threaded pipe and flexible hose.

Machined from solid brass, the adaptor delivers exceptional mechanical strength and corrosion resistance across a wide temperature envelope — from chilled water circuits up to 120 °C hot-water and heating applications. The 30 bar pressure rating far exceeds the demands of typical pool and spa plant rooms, providing a generous safety margin for high-head pump installations or pressurised chemical dosing lines.

One end carries a 1″ male thread (BSP) for direct engagement with pumps, valves, manifolds, or filter heads, while the barbed 20 mm hose tail on the opposite end locks flexible hose firmly in place — ideally secured with a hose clip for maximum bite. A 28 mm spanner flat allows precise tightening without slippage, making installation straightforward even in tight plant-room conditions.

This fitting is well suited to connecting circulation pump outlets to 20 mm flexible hose runs, linking chemical dosing or backwash lines, and adapting threaded valve ports to hose on both residential and commercial pool installations. Its all-brass construction also makes it a reliable choice for heating, solar, and irrigation circuits that share the same plant room.
