Rated to 30 bar and 120 °C, this compact 38 mm brass adaptor converts a 3/8″ BSP male thread to an 8 mm hose tail, making it a dependable transition fitting for pool plant rooms, chemical dosing lines, and pressurised water circuits. The barbed hose tail grips tubing securely under pressure, while the solid brass body resists corrosion in wet or chemically aggressive environments.

With a maximum working pressure of 30 bar and a temperature ceiling of 120 °C, this fitting comfortably handles the demanding conditions found in pool heating circuits, pressurised filter systems, and heat-pump pipework. The generous safety margins mean it is equally at home in lower-pressure chemical dosing or backwash lines.

The 3/8″ BSP male thread engages standard female-threaded ports found on pool valves, chemical injectors, pressure gauges, and pump manifolds. The 8 mm hose tail accepts flexible rubber or reinforced tubing of the corresponding bore, and an 18 mm spanner flat allows the fitting to be tightened without risk of body distortion — important when working in confined plant-room spaces.

Machined from solid brass, the adaptor offers inherent resistance to dezincification in potable and treated pool water. At just 38 mm in overall length, it introduces minimal dead volume into the circuit and can be installed in tight manifold arrangements with standard tooling.
