The Maytronics Dolphin fine filter assembly (9991455-ASSY) is the complete bottom-lid cartridge filter unit designed for the Dolphin M200 and a range of compatible entry-level Dolphin robotic pool cleaners. It houses the fine-mesh filter panels that intercept small-particle debris — sand, silt, fine grit and algae spores — before they recirculate back into the pool water. This is a Maytronics Certified Genuine Part, manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original equipment.

The assembly integrates the bottom lid and fine filter panels into a single replaceable unit, providing a tight seal and consistent flow across the filter surface. Fine-grade mesh captures sub-millimetre debris that a standard debris basket would allow to pass, producing noticeably clearer water after each cleaning cycle. Regular replacement of the assembly maintains the robot’s suction efficiency and prevents premature motor strain caused by a clogged or deformed filter.

This assembly is confirmed compatible with the following Dolphin robotic pool cleaners: M200, DX3, DX5, Swell, Swash CL, X FORCE 20, X FORCE 30, Cosmos 20 and Cosmos 30. Always cross-reference your robot’s model label before ordering to confirm fitment.

Replace this assembly when the filter panels show visible tears, warping or blocked mesh that cannot be cleared by rinsing; when the robot leaves fine sediment unsettled after a full cycle; or when the bottom lid no longer seats and seals correctly, causing bypass leakage around the filter housing. Gross weight of the assembly is approximately 0.7 kg.

Aftermarket filter assemblies frequently use coarser mesh grades and lower-tolerance plastics that distort under pool-chemical exposure, leading to poor seals and premature failure. The genuine Maytronics assembly is produced to OEM specifications, ensuring the filter panels, frame and lid locking tabs all align precisely with your robot’s chassis — protecting the drive motor and guaranteeing the filtration performance Maytronics designed the robot to deliver.
