This is a genuine Davey replacement air relief valve complete with O-ring, designed as a direct spare part for the Davey Crystal Clear ER 135 and ER 180 cartridge filter models (DCC135EU and DCC180EU). The air relief valve allows trapped air to be purged from the filter tank during start-up and normal operation, ensuring consistent water flow and safe system pressure. It is typically replaced when the valve leaks, fails to release air effectively, or when the O-ring deteriorates and causes a pressure seal failure.

This valve assembly is specified for the Davey Crystal Clear ER 135 (DCC135EU) and ER 180 (DCC180EU) cartridge filter models. Always verify your filter model number before ordering. If you own a different model in the Crystal Clear ER range (DCC225EU or DCC270EU), please check with Davey or your authorised dealer to confirm fitment before purchasing.

Using a genuine Davey spare part ensures the valve and O-ring meet the original pressure and material specifications of your filter, which has a maximum operating pressure of 250 kPa. An aftermarket or incorrectly rated valve risks improper sealing, air lock issues, or pressure-related damage. Genuine parts also help preserve your Davey warranty where applicable.

The air relief valve fits into the designated port on the filter tank lid and is secured with the included O-ring to form a watertight seal. Always depressurise and isolate the filter system fully before replacing this component. Installation by a suitably qualified pool technician is recommended to ensure correct torque and seal integrity.
