This is the genuine Davey replacement gasket (part 403154) for the terminal box on the StarFlo pool pump range. It creates a watertight, weatherproof seal between the terminal box and the motor housing, protecting the electrical connections from moisture ingress and corrosion. It is typically replaced when the existing gasket becomes brittle, compressed, or damaged — often identified by moisture inside the terminal box or signs of electrical arcing.

This gasket fits the Davey StarFlo single-phase pump models DSF150(CE), DSF200(CE), DSF250(CE), DSF300(CE), and DSF420(CE), as well as the three-phase models DSF3003FCE and DSF4203FCE. CE variants are the European-specification pumps sold across Europe. Always cross-reference your pump’s model number before ordering.

A genuine Davey gasket is manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original terminal box profile, ensuring a reliable seal that aftermarket alternatives may not achieve. Using the correct OEM part helps maintain the pump’s electrical safety rating and protects your warranty. For a pump designed to run continuously in a damp outdoor environment, cutting corners on sealing components is a false economy.

Replacement of the terminal box gasket requires isolating the pump from its power supply before opening the terminal box. The old gasket should be fully removed and the mating surfaces cleaned before fitting the new part. Because this work involves the electrical section of the pump, installation by a qualified electrician or pool technician is strongly recommended in most European markets.
