This is the genuine Davey replacement service motor assembly for the Davey Silensor SLL4003F three-phase swimming pool pump. Designed for the new-generation (post-2017, “-1” suffix) pump series, it features an 83mm frame diameter and a splined-groove shaft interface. It is the correct service motor to fit when the original motor has failed due to winding breakdown, bearing wear, or electrical fault — restoring the pump to full factory performance.

This service motor is specifically designed for the Davey Silensor SLL4003F three-phase pump — the largest model in the Silensor SLL range — in its new-generation variant (model suffix “-1”). The Silensor SLL4003F is a 400V / 50Hz three-phase unit. Before ordering, confirm your pump’s model suffix on the data label: new-generation pumps end in “-1”, while older units end in “-0” and require a different service motor. Note also that when fitting this service motor to an older (“-0”) model upgrade, the impeller must be replaced with the new-style part at the same time.

The Davey service motor assembly is a comprehensive sub-assembly covering the complete motor unit — stator, rotor, end shields, bearings, and associated hardware — so the hydraulic end (pump body, impeller, seal) is retained and reused. This approach means a faster, lower-cost overhaul compared to replacing the entire pump, with no compromise on output power or reliability. The splined-groove shaft ensures precise, secure engagement with the pump’s impeller drive interface.

Service motor replacement requires Davey Silensor specialised spanners (part numbers 13810SP and 13810-1SP) for safe removal and refitting of the case nuts. This is an advanced servicing task recommended for qualified pool technicians or engineers familiar with Davey Silensor disassembly procedures. Always isolate the three-phase power supply fully before beginning work, and refer to the official Davey Silensor Servicing Instructions for the correct reassembly sequence.
