This is a genuine Davey replacement non-return valve designed for the ProMatic salt water chlorinator range, including MPS, ESR, and ESC series systems. The non-return valve prevents pool water from flowing back through the chlorinator cell assembly, protecting the unit from pressure reversal and chemical backflow. It is typically replaced when the valve no longer seats correctly, resulting in water leakage or loss of flow direction control.

This non-return valve is a factory spare part for the Davey ProMatic MPS, ESR, and ESC series salt water chlorinators — including the ESC-pH variant, which combines the ProMatic ESC salt water system with an integrated automatic pH monitor and controller. Always verify against your system’s model number before ordering. Sold as a single unit.

Using an original Davey part ensures precise dimensional fit and material compatibility with the salt water and chemical environment of your pool system. Third-party substitutes may not seal correctly, risking damage to the electrolysis cell or dosing module. As this part is available while stock lasts, we strongly recommend ordering promptly if your system requires it.

Replacement should be carried out with the pump and controller powered off and any isolation valves closed. The non-return valve is located within the hydraulic circuit of the chlorinator and must be correctly oriented for flow direction. If in doubt, consult a qualified pool technician or refer to your ProMatic ESR/ESC installation and operating manual.
