Rated to a full 10 bar working pressure and conforming to ISO 1452 PN10, this 110 mm outer-diameter PVC-U pipe with a 4.2 mm solid wall is one of the most widely specified large-bore pressure pipe sizes for pool plant rooms, pump headers, filter manifolds, and buried supply lines. Each length is 5 metres and arrives with one factory-formed glue socket at one end and a plain spigot at the other, ready to accept standard 110 mm solvent-cement fittings without additional adapters.

Material & pressure credentials

Unplasticised PVC-U is inherently corrosion-resistant, unaffected by pool chemicals, and carries an exceptionally smooth bore that keeps flow resistance low — particularly beneficial on the high-flow suction and return runs typical of commercial or large residential installations. The solid-wall construction and PN10 rating cover the pressures encountered in virtually all swimming-pool circulation systems.

Glue-socket jointing system

The integral solvent-cement socket at one end lets installers assemble runs quickly using standard PVC-U pressure fittings and PVC solvent cement. The plain spigot at the opposite end inserts directly into the next socket, creating a chemically fused joint that is permanently leak-free once cured. Lengths can be cut on site to suit any run length, and off-cuts retain the plain end for use with separate couplings.

Sizing & installation scope

At 110 mm, this pipe is suited to main circulation headers, backwash lines, and hydraulic connections between plant-room equipment in pools from roughly 100 m³ upward, as well as commercial sites where multiple pumps share a common manifold.
