Fluidra – Artic Sand Filter Base Ø800 mm

This is the genuine replacement base for the Fluidra Artic series laminated sand filter with an 800 mm tank diameter. Manufactured from reinforced polypropylene (PP), it forms the structural lower section of the filter vessel, housing the valve connections and supporting the internal collector arm assembly. It is the correct OEM part for restoring a cracked, damaged, or leaking filter base to full working condition.

Compatibilidad

This base is designed exclusively for the Fluidra Artic sand filter range in the 800 mm diameter size. The Artic series spans 500, 650, 800, and 950 mm diameter models — always verify your tank diameter before ordering. Connections on 800 mm models use the ACME thread standard, so ensure your valve and pipework match accordingly.

Instalación

Replacing the filter base requires draining the filter completely, disconnecting all pipework and the multiport valve, and separating the upper and lower tank halves at the joint. The work involves handling a large, heavy tank section and reconnecting pressurised plumbing, so professional installation by a qualified pool technician is strongly recommended. Always inspect and replace the tank joint gasket at the same time to guarantee a watertight seal.
