Flotide/MEGA – Compressor Crankcase Heating Belt 230V 35W 390mm

This is a genuine Flotide/MEGA replacement compressor crankcase heating belt (bellyband type) designed for the Flotide/MEGA Inverter heat pump, Type Xp12Csie. It wraps around the base of the compressor and keeps it gently warmed when the unit is not running, preventing refrigerant from migrating into and mixing with the compressor oil during periods of inactivity.

Why Your Heat Pump Needs This

When a heat pump sits idle — especially in cooler ambient temperatures — refrigerant can condense and accumulate in the compressor crankcase, diluting the lubricating oil.
