This is the genuine Davey replacement 50mm barrel union assembly for Silensor and SilensorPro swimming pool pumps — the European-specification version (formerly part number 48775-1, now 33204SP). Each assembly consists of a nut, tail piece, and o-ring, and forms the watertight, tool-free plumbing connection between the pump ports and your 50mm pool pipework. Two units are included, covering both the inlet and outlet ports of the pump.

Compatibilidad

Designed specifically for the Davey Silensor and SilensorPro range of pool pumps sold in Europe (CE variants). One barrel union is required per pump port, hence two are needed per pump installation. What it does & when to replace it

The barrel union creates a secure, leak-free union between the pump body and the 50mm PVC pool pipework without the need for glue, sealant, or silicone — hand-tightening is all that is required. Replacement is typically needed when the o-ring has hardened or perished causing a drip at the pump port, when the locking nut or tail piece is cracked or damaged, or whenever the pump is removed for servicing and reinstalled.

Instalación

Each assembly hand-tightens directly onto the pump port threads. No tools, sealants, or adhesives are required. To maintain a reliable seal on the o-ring, use a purpose-made PVC lubricant such as Hydro Slip — avoid petroleum-based products such as Vaseline, which can cause the o-ring to swell and deform. Always replace both unions as a pair to ensure balanced performance across the inlet and outlet.
