AstralPool - Variable Speed Drive (Variator) for Maxim VS 3.5 HP Pump - 4405011477

AstralPool – Variable Speed Drive (Variator) for Maxim VS 3.5 HP Pump

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement variable speed drive — also referred to as the variator — for the Maxim VS 3.5 HP commercial pool pump (parent SKU 73773). The variator is the integrated electronic drive unit that controls motor speed, enabling the pump to adjust its output to match actual pool demand rather than running at a fixed rate. Replacing a faulty variator restores full variable-speed functionality and energy-saving performance to the pump.

Compatibilidad

This variator is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Maxim VS 3.5 HP pump (parent SKU 73773). It corresponds to position 28 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for this pump. It is not interchangeable with the 4.5 HP or 5.5 HP Maxim VS variants — always confirm your pump’s model and power rating before ordering.

Por qué lo genuino importa

As a safety-critical electronic component governing motor speed, using a genuine AstralPool part ensures correct voltage and frequency compatibility with the pump’s motor, maintains the pump’s energy-efficiency rating, and preserves any remaining manufacturer warranty. Aftermarket alternatives may cause motor damage, unpredictable speed control, or void your warranty.

Instalación

The variator is an integrated electronic drive module and its replacement involves working with mains-voltage wiring and pump control circuitry. Installation should be carried out by a qualified pool technician or electrician. Refer to the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram (position 28) and the Maxim VS 3.5 HP service manual to ensure correct mounting, wiring, and commissioning.
