Astralpool - Bilbao Sand Filter Base D.400 - 4404010159

Astralpool – Bilbao Sand Filter Base D.400

This is the genuine OEM lower body (base) for the AstralPool Bilbao sand filter range, specifically sized for the 400 mm diameter vessel. As position 13 in the official Fluidra/AstralPool exploded-view diagram, it forms the structural lower half of the two-part filter tank, housing the internal laterals and providing the connection points for plumbing, drainage, and the sand bed support.

Compatibilidad

This filter base is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Bilbao Filter D.400/500/600 Orange (parent SKU 04591). Always cross-reference the exploded-view position number (13) and parent SKU before ordering, as Bilbao bases are diameter-specific — this D.400 version is not interchangeable with the D.500 or D.600 variants.

Por qué lo genuino importa

AstralPool Bilbao filter tanks are manufactured from reinforced polypropylene, engineered to withstand the pressures and pool chemical environments typical of residential and light-commercial installations. A genuine replacement base ensures correct wall thickness, fitting geometry, and material grade — keeping your filter operating safely within its rated working pressure and avoiding leaks that off-brand parts may introduce.

Instalación

Replacing the filter base is a full tank disassembly procedure: the filter must be drained, the clamping band and upper body removed, and all internal components transferred to the new base. Professional installation is strongly recommended. Ensure all seals and O-rings are inspected and replaced as needed during reassembly.
