What They Do and Why It Matters

For parameters such as Phosphate (HR) and Nitrate, the PoolLab 2.0 measurement protocol requires the water sample to be pushed through a filter paper before analysis. Suspended particles in unfiltered pool water scatter light inside the photometer and cause erroneously high readings, undermining the accuracy of your results. The 0.45 micron pore size captures fine turbidity and microparticulates, delivering a clarified sample that allows the photometer’s LED optics to read colour changes cleanly and produce trustworthy data.

Compatibilidad
