Rated to a robust 30 bar working pressure and tolerating temperatures up to 120 °C, this large-bore Profec brass hose tail adaptor bridges a 3″ male BSP thread to an 80 mm hose tail — making it well suited to high-flow commercial pool plant rooms, industrial pump installations, and large-diameter irrigation or filtration pipework where reliability under pressure is non-negotiable.

Machined from solid brass, the adaptor delivers corrosion resistance and mechanical strength suited to both hot and cold water systems. At 115 mm in overall length and requiring an 86 mm spanner for fitment, it is a substantial fitting designed to remain leak-free at the extreme end of most pump and filter pressure ratings — well beyond the typical 6–10 bar found in residential pool circuits.

The fitting transitions directly from a 3″ male thread on one end to an 80 mm hose tail barb on the other, enabling a straight, secure hose-clamp connection to large-bore flexible hose without additional reducers or adaptors. This simplifies installation in tight plant-room spaces and reduces potential leak points in the pipework run.

At 80 mm hose tail diameter, this adaptor is intended for large commercial or semi-commercial pool systems, high-capacity pump suction and discharge lines, and heavy-duty water-management applications. Always verify thread standard (BSP) and hose inner diameter compatibility before ordering, and torque the threaded end with the correct 86 mm spanner to the manufacturer’s specification.
