This is the genuine Maytronics blue side panel for the Dolphin Pool Up CB (DB1 platform) robotic pool cleaner. The side panel forms a key structural section of the robot’s outer body, enclosing and protecting the internal drive and motor components while contributing to the overall hydrodynamic profile of the unit.

The side panel sits flush against the lateral face of the Dolphin Pool Up CB chassis, shielding the internal mechanics from debris, pool-water pressure and physical impact during operation. It works in conjunction with the top casing and base plate to maintain the structural integrity of the robot body and ensure consistent water flow through the machine.

This panel is designed specifically for the Maytronics Dolphin Pool Up CB, built on the DB1 platform. Always verify your robot’s model designation before ordering — the Pool Up range includes several variants, and panel geometry differs between them. Refer to your serial number if uncertain.

Replace the side panel when it shows cracks, splits, warping or deep scuff marks that compromise the seal between body sections. A damaged panel can allow uncontrolled water ingress around internal components, reduce suction efficiency and cause premature wear on the motor housing. Discolouration or fading alone does not impair function but is a common cosmetic reason for replacement.

An OEM Maytronics panel is moulded to the exact tolerances of the DB1 chassis, ensuring a secure, rattle-free fit with all fastener points correctly aligned. Third-party alternatives frequently introduce micro-gaps that disrupt internal water circulation and void the Maytronics warranty. Fitting a genuine part preserves both performance and your cover.
