This is the genuine Davey replacement diffuser and o-ring assembly (part 33155SP) for the StarFlo VS variable-speed pool pump range. The diffuser sits between the impeller and the pump casing, converting the velocity of water driven by the impeller into pressure for effective pool circulation. The included o-ring ensures a watertight seal between the diffuser and pump body, preventing internal bypass and maintaining hydraulic efficiency.

This assembly is designed for Davey StarFlo VS pool pumps — the variable-speed, CE-compliant pump series sold across Europe. The StarFlo VS range is designed for in-ground and above-ground pools and features EU 50mm and 63mm barrel unions. Always verify your pump’s model number before ordering to ensure a precise fit; this part is not shared with the standard single-speed StarFlo DSF or StarFlo SF series.

The diffuser and o-ring should be inspected whenever the pump is opened for servicing. Replacement is typically needed when the pump shows a noticeable drop in flow rate or pressure, produces unusual noise, or leaks internally — symptoms that often point to a worn, cracked, or deformed diffuser or a deteriorated o-ring seal. Replacing both components together as this factory assembly ensures correct tolerances and a reliable seal.

As an original Davey spare part, this assembly is manufactured to exact factory specifications, guaranteeing correct fit and long service life. Aftermarket alternatives may differ in material grade or dimensional tolerances, risking premature failure or reduced pump performance. Using genuine Davey parts also helps maintain any applicable warranty on your pump.
