This is the genuine Davey replacement fuse holder (part number M2953SP) designed for the internal controller boards of the Davey ProMatic and EcoSalt salt chlorinator range. It secures and connects the mains protection fuse within the control unit housing, ensuring stable power delivery to the electrolysis circuit. This part is typically replaced when the existing holder is cracked, has poor contact, or when recurring fuse failures are traced back to a faulty holder rather than the fuse itself.

This fuse holder is compatible across multiple Davey / Monarch-Davey salt chlorinator controller families, including the ProMatic MPS Series (MPS 16, 24, 36, 40, 50), ProMatic ESR Series (ESR 160, 200, 240, 300), ProMatic ESC Series (ESC 16, 24, 36, 48), and the EcoSalt range. Always verify your specific controller model and board revision before ordering, as internal configurations can vary.

As an official Davey spare part, M2953SP is manufactured to the exact electrical and mechanical tolerances required by these salt chlorinator controllers. Non-genuine or generic fuse holders may not provide a secure contact or correct current rating, risking nuisance trips, controller damage, or unsafe operation. Please note this part is available while stocks last only — it is an end-of-life component and availability is not guaranteed.

Replacement should be carried out by a qualified pool technician or electrician, as it involves working inside the mains-connected controller enclosure. Always isolate mains power completely before opening the unit. Ensure the replacement fuse rating matches the original specification for your controller model.
