Keeping the cuvette free of reagent residues and deposits is essential: even minor contamination inside the cuvette chambers can scatter the LED beam and skew readings across all 24 measurable water parameters.

Why regular cuvette cleaning matters

The PoolLab 2.0 manual explicitly requires that the cuvette be cleaned before every measurement session to remove any residual reagent or debris. Tablet reagents — such as DPD, Phenol Red, and CYA tablets — can leave pigment traces or fine powder in the narrow cuvette chambers that a simple rinse may not fully dislodge. The cleaning brush is sized and shaped to reach inside each chamber without scratching the optical surfaces, protecting measurement accuracy over time.

Kompatibilität

These cleaning brushes are compatible exclusively with the Water-ID PoolLab 2.0 photometer and its triple-chamber cuvette. They are not designed for the older PoolLab 1.0 or any other Water-ID photometer model. Usage guidance
