The VDL ISO-TOP ball valve in PVC-U is a full-bore, two-way shut-off valve engineered for demanding water treatment, swimming pool circulation, and industrial irrigation pipework. With a nominal pipe size of 63 mm (DN50 bore) and a maximum working pressure of 16 bar, this valve offers exceptional flow capacity alongside reliable isolation. The ISO-TOP actuator flange on the stem means the valve is actuator-ready straight from the box — an electric or pneumatic drive can be bolted on without additional adapters, making it ideal for automated pool plant rooms and greenhouse irrigation manifolds.
Both ends accept 63 mm outside-diameter PVC pipe via solvent-weld (glue socket) connections, creating a permanent, leak-free joint that withstands the rated 16 bar pressure across the full operating temperature range of 0 °C to 60 °C. The two-piece union body design (twin union nuts visible on each side) allows the valve cartridge to be removed for maintenance or ball replacement without cutting the pipe, significantly reducing system downtime. The EPDM seat and seal package ensures compatibility with chlorinated pool water, clean irrigation water, and mild chemical dosing lines.
