Rain Bird RC2 8-Station Wi-Fi Compatible Irrigation Controller
The Rain Bird RC2 is a wall-mounted irrigation controller designed for residential and light commercial irrigation systems with up to 8 independent zones. Operating on a standard 24 VAC supply, it supports three independent watering programmes (A, B and C), each configurable by day-of-week, odd/even day or interval scheduling. The integrated Wi-Fi module allows the controller to connect to the Rain Bird app, enabling remote programming and monitoring from any smartphone or tablet without the need for a separate bridge device.
The compact enclosure measures 90 mm wide by 200 mm tall, making it suitable for installation in utility rooms, garages or sheltered outdoor locations rated to IP24. The hinged front cover incorporates a printed programming chart and quick-start guide for on-site reference. Front-panel buttons — AUTO, OFF, MANUAL and NEXT — allow full programming without a phone, which is valuable during commissioning or in areas with poor signal. A status LED and Wi-Fi indicator give an immediate visual read of controller health.

Kompatibilität
The RC2 drives standard 24 VAC solenoid valves as used across Rain Bird, Hunter, Irritrol and other major irrigation brands. It is compatible with a single common wire (C) and up to 8 zone wires. The controller supports one master valve or pump-start relay output. Wi-Fi connectivity requires a 2.4 GHz home or site network; 5 GHz-only routers are not supported. The unit is intended for indoor or sheltered outdoor installation in accordance with its IP24 splash-protection rating.
