Profec DN50 Swing Check Valve with Lifting Device — Ductile Iron, Epoxy Coated, DIN Flange PN10/16

This swing check valve from Profec is engineered for reliable non-return duty in pressurised water systems, including pool plant rooms, irrigation mains, and industrial pipework. The body and disc are cast from ductile iron GGG40, finished with a blue epoxy coating for corrosion protection in wet environments. The integrated lifting device — a bottom-mounted adjustable spindle — allows the disc to be manually raised for system priming, flow testing, or maintenance without dismantling the valve from the line.

The valve connects via DIN-standard flanges rated to PN10/16, making it directly interchangeable with existing DIN pipework at DN50. With a face-to-face length (L) of 200 mm, a flange outer diameter (Ct-1) of 165 mm, and a bolt-circle diameter (PCD) of 125 mm on a 4-hole pattern, the valve aligns with standard EN 1092-2 flange drilling. The NBR rubber seat seal provides a secure shut-off across the full operating temperature range of 0 °C to 80 °C, and the valve is rated to a maximum working pressure of 16 bar. Maximum flow capacity is 41 m³/h at DN50.

Kompatibilität

Suitable for direct installation into DN50 DIN flanged pipework conforming to EN 1092-2. The PN10/16 flange drilling pattern with a 125 mm bolt-circle diameter and 4 holes is compatible with standard PN10 and PN16 counter-flanges at DN50. The NBR seat is compatible with clean water, pool water, and general irrigation media within the stated temperature range. Not recommended for use with hydrocarbons, solvents, or aggressive chemicals without verifying NBR compatibility.

Profec Swing check valve with lifting device ductile iron (GGG40) epoxy coating DN50 DIN flange 16bar DN50 blue PN10/16 — main
  • Lifting device spindle allows manual disc actuation for priming and maintenance without removing the valve
  • Ductile iron GGG40 body with epoxy coating provides long service life in wet and buried installations
  • DIN flange PN10/16 drilling gives direct drop-in compatibility with standard EN 1092-2 pipework at DN50
  • 16 bar pressure rating suits high-head pump discharge applications in pool plant and irrigation systems
  • High flow capacity of 41 m³/h at DN50 minimises pressure loss in large-bore systems
  • One-way (non-return) function only — cannot be used as an isolating valve
  • Flange bolts and gaskets not included; must be sourced separately to complete the installation
  • Cast iron body adds significant weight compared to PVC or stainless alternatives — consider for fixed, supported pipework only
