Profec Safe 625 PVC-U Ball Valve DN15 – 1/2″ Female Thread, 16 bar
The Profec Safe 625 is a double-union true-bore ball valve manufactured from high-grade PVC-U, designed for reliable shut-off in pool filtration circuits, irrigation systems, and greenhouse water distribution. The two-piece union construction allows the valve body to be removed from the pipeline without disturbing the end connections, making in-line servicing fast and straightforward. A 90° lever action opens or closes the full-bore DN15 passage in a single quarter-turn, delivering minimal pressure drop when fully open.
Both end connections are female BSP threaded at 1/2″, accepting standard male-threaded fittings or adapters. The grey PVC-U body is chemically resistant to chlorinated water, mild acids, and common pool treatment chemicals. The red PVC-U lever provides instant visual confirmation of valve position and is rated for continuous operation up to 60 °C, making it suitable for solar-heated systems as well as cold-water applications. Hytrel/EPDM seals ensure a long service life and broad chemical compatibility.

Kompatibilität
The Safe 625 DN15 is compatible with standard 1/2″ BSP male-threaded fittings, adapters, and manifold ports. It is suited for use with cold and warm water up to 60 °C, chlorinated pool water, treated irrigation water, and mild chemical dosing lines. It is not designed for solvent-cement connection — thread sealing tape (PTFE) or approved thread sealant must be used on the male counterpart fittings. This valve is not rated for steam, compressed gases, or highly aggressive solvents.
