Norsup – UV Supernova Timer Replacement Quartz Glass Sleeve 920 x 31 mm (130/140 W)

This is the genuine Norsup replacement quartz glass sleeve (VSC type, 920 × 31 mm) designed for the Norsup UV Supernova Timer UV-C disinfection unit in the 130 W and 140 W versions. The quartz sleeve sits around the amalgam UV lamp inside the disinfection chamber, protecting it from water while allowing UV-C radiation to pass through freely and disinfect the pool water. Replacing a fouled or damaged sleeve restores full disinfection performance and protects the lamp from moisture damage.

Kompatibilität

This quartz glass sleeve fits the Norsup UV Supernova Timer UV-C disinfection units rated at 130 W and 140 W. It is not interchangeable with the smaller 933 × 25 mm sleeve used in the 40 W, 75 W and 80 W Supernova models. Always verify your unit’s wattage before ordering to ensure the correct fit.

Warum Echtheit zählt

The Norsup Supernova uses a high-output amalgam lamp rather than a traditional UV-C lamp, delivering a higher and more stable UV output. A genuine Norsup quartz glass sleeve is manufactured to the exact optical and dimensional tolerances required to maintain that UV-C transmission efficiency. Third-party alternatives may reduce disinfection performance or risk lamp damage, making a like-for-like genuine replacement the safest choice.

Installation und Wartung

Quartz glass sleeves should be inspected and cleaned at least once per season, as mineral deposits and biofilm can reduce UV-C transmission over time. If the sleeve is cracked, permanently fouled, or broken, it must be replaced promptly to prevent water from reaching the lamp. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct sealing and to avoid handling damage to the quartz glass.
