So funktioniert die Salzelektrolyse

Eine Elektrolysezelle erzeugt bei Bedarf Chlor im Filterkreislauf Ihres Schwimmbeckens. Ein Niederspannungs-Gleichstrom fließt durch im Salzwasser eingetauchte Titanelektrodenplatten und spaltet Natriumchlorid in hypochlorige Säure – das aktive Desinfektionsmittel. Die Säure desinfiziert das Wasser und wandelt sich anschließend wieder in Salz um, wodurch der Prozess kontinuierlich und selbsttragend abläuft und für Schwimmer weitaus schonender ist als die herkömmliche Chlordosierung.
