AstralPool - Butt Connector for R3 Pool Cleaning Robot (Position 450) - 5473

AstralPool – Butt Connector for R3 Pool Cleaning Robot (Position 450)

This is the genuine AstralPool OEM butt connector for the R3 robotic pool cleaner (ref. 66666). A butt connector is a crimp-style electrical connector used to join two wire ends securely within the robot’s internal wiring harness, maintaining reliable electrical continuity to the drive and suction motors. It corresponds to position 450 in the official Fluidra exploded-view parts diagram for the R3.

Kompatibilität

This butt connector is designed specifically for the AstralPool R3 robotic pool cleaner (parent SKU 66666). Always cross-reference the position number (450) against the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for your robot before ordering, to ensure you are replacing the correct connector in the wiring harness.

Warum Echtheit zählt

Using an OEM AstralPool connector guarantees the correct crimp gauge, insulation rating, and corrosion resistance for the R3’s 24V DC electrical system. Third-party substitutes can introduce resistance, increase the risk of short circuits, and void your warranty — making genuine parts the only safe choice for a submerged electrical environment.

Installation

Butt connectors are typically replaced during cable or motor harness repairs. The connection requires a proper crimping tool to achieve a secure, waterproof joint. This work is best carried out by a qualified pool technician or electrician familiar with low-voltage pool equipment, as improper crimping in a wet environment can cause motor failure or electrical faults.
