This is the genuine AstralPool BIP Electrode Holder — the structural bracket that locates and retains the electrolysis electrode within the cell assembly of the Sprint Chlore V.2 salt chlorinator. A correctly seated electrode holder is essential for stable electrical contact and efficient chlorine production. This is an official Fluidra spare part, corresponding to position 8 in the Sprint Chlore V.2 exploded view diagram.

This electrode holder is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Sprint Chlore V.2 salt chlorinator (parent SKU 72570). It is not a universal component — always verify your chlorinator model and consult the official exploded view before ordering to ensure an exact match.

Salt chlorinator components are exposed to continuous electrochemical stress and chemically aggressive pool water. An OEM electrode holder ensures the correct material grade, dimensional tolerances, and secure fit — protecting the electrode from misalignment, premature wear, and potential damage to the cell housing. Third-party alternatives may not meet these standards, risking reduced chlorine output or shortened electrode life.

Installation requires partial disassembly of the Sprint Chlore V.2 electrolysis cell. Refer to the official Fluidra exploded view (position 8) and the unit’s service manual for correct reassembly procedure. We recommend this work be carried out by a qualified pool technician to maintain warranty validity and ensure safe, leak-free reassembly.
