This genuine AstralPool pH 10 buffer calibration solution kit (70 ml) is a reference-standard reagent used to calibrate the pH probe on the AstralPool Optima dosing pump with integrated pH/Redox control (parent SKU 36013). Accurate probe calibration is essential for the pump’s automatic pH regulation to function correctly, ensuring safe and balanced pool water chemistry. It corresponds to position 14B in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for the Optima pH/Redox system.

To calibrate the pH sensor, the probe is immersed in this pH 10 reference buffer solution, which gives the instrument a fixed, known reference point. The Optima pump’s built-in analyser supports automatic calibration at the press of a button, and using the correct buffer value is critical for the controller to accurately measure and dose pH-correcting chemicals into the pool.

This kit is a listed spare part (position 14B) for the AstralPool Optima Type C dosing pump with pH/Redox analyser (SKU 36013). Always verify your pump’s exploded-view diagram before ordering to confirm this is the correct buffer value for your calibration procedure — the Optima system may also require a pH 7 solution for two-point calibration depending on your setup.

Using a genuine AstralPool calibration solution ensures the buffer value is within the tight tolerance required by the Optima controller’s sensor efficiency monitoring. Off-brand or incorrectly rated buffer solutions can introduce measurement drift, leading to inaccurate dosing and potential over- or under-treatment of your pool water.
