This is the genuine Flotide/MEGA replacement titanium heat exchanger designed specifically for the Hydro-S Inverter 5 pool heat pump (type XP05CSIE). The heat exchanger is the core component responsible for transferring thermal energy from the refrigerant circuit into the pool water, keeping your pool at the desired temperature efficiently and reliably. Replacing a worn or damaged heat exchanger with a genuine Flotide/MEGA part restores full heating performance and protects the integrity of the heat pump system.

Titanium is the material of choice for pool heat exchangers because of its outstanding resistance to the corrosive chemicals found in pool water, including chlorine and salt. Unlike stainless steel or copper alternatives, a titanium heat exchanger will not degrade when used with saltwater chlorination systems or high-chlorine pools, ensuring a long service life and consistent heat transfer performance over many seasons.

This heat exchanger is a direct OEM replacement part for the Flotide/MEGA Hydro-S Inverter 5 heat pump, model type XP05CSIE. It is not a universal part — always verify your heat pump’s model designation before ordering to ensure correct fitment. If you are unsure whether this part matches your unit, contact our support team with your heat pump’s model number.
