The Maytronics Dolphin E10 filter cover assembly (99952170-ASSY) is the complete lid unit that closes and secures the filter compartment on the Dolphin E10 robotic pool cleaner. It holds the filter cartridge firmly in position during each cleaning cycle, preventing debris bypass and maintaining consistent suction pressure throughout the robot’s run.

The filter cover forms the upper enclosure of the filter bay, latching shut to create a sealed chamber around the cartridge. By preserving the integrity of the filter housing, it ensures that all pool water drawn in by the impeller passes through the filter media rather than leaking around it — a prerequisite for efficient fine-particle capture. The complete assembly includes the cover body and its integrated handle for quick-release access.

This assembly is a dedicated spare part for the Maytronics Dolphin E10 robotic pool cleaner. It is not a universal part; always verify your robot’s model before ordering to ensure a direct fit.

Replace the filter cover assembly if the lid no longer clips shut firmly, if the hinge or latch is cracked or deformed, if the cover has warped from prolonged UV or chemical exposure, or if visible debris is bypassing the filter despite a clean cartridge. Any structural failure of the cover will compromise filtration performance immediately.

Aftermarket covers frequently use lower-grade plastics that warp under pool-chemical exposure, causing premature latch failure and debris bypass. A genuine Maytronics assembly is manufactured to the exact dimensional tolerances of the E10 chassis, guaranteeing a secure seal, correct water-flow characteristics, and long service life without modification.
