This is the genuine Davey replacement pump casing (part number 404213) for the StarFlo VS variable-speed pool pump range. The pump casing forms the main wet-end housing body of the pump, enclosing the impeller and hydraulic components while directing water flow through the filtration circuit. It is typically replaced when the original casing becomes cracked, warped, or damaged due to impact, age, or chemical exposure.

This casing is a genuine spare part designed specifically for Davey StarFlo VS pumps (CE variants sold in Europe). The StarFlo VS is a variable-speed filtration pump suited to in-ground and above-ground pools up to 104,000 litres, as well as large swim spas, plunge pools, and solar heating systems. Always verify your pump’s model number before ordering to ensure correct fitment.

An OEM Davey casing is manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original, ensuring a leak-free seal with all mating components — including the pump basket, cover, O-rings, and mechanical seal. Aftermarket alternatives may not match the thread, flange, or port dimensions of the StarFlo VS wet end, risking leaks or reduced hydraulic performance. Using genuine Davey parts also helps protect your pump’s warranty.

Replacing the pump casing involves draining the pump, disassembling the wet end, and transferring internal components such as the impeller, diffuser, and basket assembly into the new casing. We recommend this work be carried out by a qualified pool technician or installer to ensure correct reassembly and a watertight result.
