This is the genuine Zodiac replacement protective cover designed specifically for the Vortex horizontal transport cart (ref. W1889A). It envelops the entire assembly — robot, cart and control unit — in a single fitted sleeve, shielding every component from dust, UV radiation and moisture when the cleaner is not in use.

What the cover does

The cover forms a close-fitting, water-resistant barrier around the robot as it sits in its horizontal position on the W1889A cart. Made from durable PVC-coated nylon fabric, it seals out environmental contaminants that would otherwise degrade plastic housings, seals, cables and electronics over a storage period. Reinforced seaming at stress points prevents tearing during fitting and removal.

Which models it fits

This cover is matched to the first-generation Zodiac Vortex horizontal trolley (W1889A) and is confirmed compatible with the Vortex 3, Vortex 4 and Vortex 3 4WD robotic pool cleaners. It is not interchangeable with the cover for the later vertical trolley (ref. R0568100 / W2465A), so always verify your cart orientation before ordering.
