This VDL type DIL true-union ball valve is manufactured from unplasticised PVC (PVC-U) and designed for full-bore, quarter-turn isolation on pipelines with an outside diameter of 110 mm. The grey PVC-U body and orange lever handle deliver instant visual confirmation of valve position, making it a reliable choice for pool plant rooms, irrigation mains, and industrial water treatment installations. With a rated working pressure of 10 bar and an operating temperature range of 0 °C to 60 °C, the valve performs safely across the full duty spectrum typically encountered in pressurised water systems.

Both ends are machined as plain glue sockets (solvent-cement spigot connections) conforming to standard PVC-U pipe outside diameters, enabling a permanent, leak-free joint without the need for threaded adapters. The true-union design – identified by the two large knurled union nuts visible on either side of the valve body – allows the complete valve cartridge to be removed from the pipeline in seconds without disturbing adjacent pipework. EPDM seats and seals provide excellent resistance to chlorinated water, making this valve particularly well suited to swimming pool and spa filtration circuits. The full-bore ball port minimises pressure drop and allows rodding or pig passage when required.

Compatibilitat

The VDL DIL DN110 ball valve is compatible with PVC-U pressure pipe of 110 mm outside diameter conforming to ISO 1452 / EN 1452. Solvent cement jointing must be carried out using a PVC-U cement and primer appropriate for the pipe class and ambient conditions. The EPDM seals are suitable for potable cold water, chlorinated pool water, and general aqueous solutions within the stated temperature range. This valve is not recommended for use with oils, solvents, or compressed gases, nor for service above 60 °C or 10 bar.
