Sta-Rite – Pump Strainer Basket for 5P6R / SW5P6R-VSD / IntelliPro (RC858P)

This is the genuine OEM strainer basket (part reference RC858P / C8-58P) designed for the Sta-Rite 5P6R, SW5P6R-VSD, and IntelliPro variable-speed pump range. Seated inside the pump’s pre-filter housing, it catches hair, leaves, and debris before they can reach the impeller, protecting the pump and maintaining efficient water flow.

Compatibilitat

This basket is the factory-specified replacement for the Sta-Rite 5P6R and SW5P6R-VSD pump series, including IntelliPro variable-speed models. Always verify your pump model number before ordering to ensure a correct fit — part dimensions and locking tabs vary across Sta-Rite pump families.

Per què l'autenticitat importa

An OEM basket guarantees the precise fit, screen mesh density, and material durability that Sta-Rite engineers to the pump housing. Aftermarket alternatives can flex, crack, or seat improperly, allowing debris to bypass the basket and damage the impeller — a costly repair that genuine parts help you avoid.

Instal·lació

The basket drops into the strainer pot and locks into place without tools. Switch off and isolate the pump before opening the strainer lid, relieve any pressure, and inspect the lid O-ring each time the basket is removed. Periodic cleaning of the basket is a routine maintenance task that any pool owner can perform.
