Sta-Rite Impeller — 0.75 kW single-phase (RC105238PGM)

Pump impeller for the Sta-Rite 5P4R range, rated at 0.75 kW single-phase. The impeller is the pump’s rotating flow generator — a worn or scored impeller shows up as a drop in flow rate at the returns even when the motor is running at full speed, followed by longer filter cycles and murkier water.

This variant fits the following Sta-Rite HD models: P-STRHD-101E2. This impeller matches the factory-original vane geometry and diameter, so hydraulic performance stays identical to a new pump. Glass-filled thermoplastic construction resists corrosion in chlorinated pool water and shrugs off the abrasive sand + calcium debris that eventually chews out an aluminum impeller.

Installation: inspect and replace the diffuser wear ring, mechanical seal and volute gasket at the same time — these all wear together and swapping just the impeller against tired mating parts wastes both the new part and your service window. Torque the impeller onto the shaft by hand and back off a quarter turn to avoid galling the plastic thread.
