This wafer-pattern butterfly valve from Profec is engineered for demanding flow-control duties in water treatment, irrigation mains, and industrial pipework up to DN200. The body is cast from ductile iron GGG40 and finished with a durable blue epoxy coating that resists corrosion and abrasion, making the valve equally at home in exposed plant rooms or buried manifolds. A stainless steel 316 disc combined with an EPDM seat liner delivers a tight, bubble-tight shut-off across the full PN6/10/16 pressure range up to 10 bar, while keeping the fluid path free of iron contamination.
The wafer design keeps the face-to-face length to just 60 mm, minimising installation depth between DIN 2501 flanges without sacrificing structural integrity. Shaft sealing is handled by an EPDM liner that wraps the disc edge and seats against the body bore, so no separate gland packing is required. The over-centre lever locks the disc in the open, closed, or any of the intermediate throttling positions marked on the ratchet plate, giving installers repeatable flow adjustment without additional tools. The lever handle itself is manufactured from black malleable cast iron, and the stem from stainless steel 304, ensuring long service life in humid or chemically aggressive environments.

Compatibilitat
This valve is designed to be sandwiched between DIN 2501 flanges at DN200, compatible with PN6, PN10, and PN16 flange drillings. The EPDM seat makes it suitable for potable water, pool and spa recirculation mains, cooling-tower circuits, and general irrigation distribution lines operating within the stated 0 °C–90 °C temperature envelope. It is not recommended for use with mineral oils, concentrated acids, or fluids incompatible with EPDM elastomers. Actuator mounting is possible via the ISO 5211 top flange pattern visible on the stem boss, allowing future upgrade to pneumatic or electric drive without replacing the valve body.
