This Profec Type 600 wafer-pattern butterfly valve combines a ductile iron GGG40 body with a durable epoxy coating to deliver reliable shut-off and throttling in water supply, pool pipework, irrigation mains, and light industrial systems. Rated to 10 bar and suitable for fluid temperatures from 0 °C to 90 °C, it accepts standard PN6, PN10, and PN16 flanges — eliminating the need to specify flange class at the time of ordering and making it ideal for mixed-standard installations. The compact wafer design minimises face-to-face length (43 mm) so it slots neatly between existing flanges without pipe modifications.

The disc is manufactured from stainless steel 316 for corrosion resistance, while the stem is also stainless steel 316, reducing maintenance risk in humid or chemically active environments. The EPDM seat liner provides a bubble-tight seal throughout the full 0 °C–90 °C service range and is compatible with chlorinated water, making it well suited to pool plant rooms and greenhouse irrigation headers. The ratchet lever with malleable cast iron body locks the disc at multiple intermediate positions for precise flow control without additional actuator hardware.

Compatibilitat

The Type 600 DN50 butterfly valve is dimensionally compatible with PN6, PN10, and PN16 flanged pipework to EN 1092-2. The dual bolt-hole pitch-circle pattern (110 mm and 125 mm) accommodates both lighter and heavier flange series without adaptors. EPDM sealing makes this valve suitable for potable water, pool water (including chlorinated), and general irrigation duty. It is not recommended for use with hydrocarbon fluids, oils, or solvents, as EPDM is not resistant to these media. Actuation upgrade is possible: the stem top accepts standard ISO 5211 actuator mounting if lever operation is later replaced by electric or pneumatic drive.
