Profec Safe 600 Actuated Ball Valve – PVC-U 63 mm Glue Socket with J4C S20 Electric Actuator

This fully assembled actuated ball valve combines a Profec Safe 600 PVC-U ball valve body (63 mm glue socket, 16 bar rated) with a J4C S20 electric actuator accepting a wide 24–240 V AC/DC supply voltage. The result is a plug-and-play automated shut-off solution suited to pool plant rooms, chemical dosing lines, irrigation manifolds, and greenhouse water circuits. The grey PVC-U body is chemically resistant to chlorinated water, mild acids, and fertiliser solutions, making it equally at home in aggressive process environments.

The J4C S20 actuator achieves a full 90-degree open-to-close stroke in approximately 15 seconds and includes a manual override handwheel for operation during power loss. An integrated status indicator LED and end-position limit switches allow direct feedback to a control panel or building-management system without additional accessories. The universal voltage input (24–240 V AC and DC) eliminates the need to specify separate AC or DC variants, simplifying procurement across projects.

Compatibilitat

The 63 mm glue-socket ends accept standard metric PVC-U pressure pipe (OD 63 mm, ISO 1452 / EN 1452 series). The valve is suitable for use with chlorinated pool water, potable water, irrigation supply lines, and dilute chemical solutions compatible with PVC-U, Hytrel, and EPDM. It is not recommended for hydrocarbons, concentrated solvents, or applications requiring bi-directional pressure holding beyond the rated 16 bar. The J4C S20 actuator mounts directly to the Safe 600 valve body via the integrated ISO 5211 bracket and requires no separate adaptor plate for this configuration.
