How to install it

Isolate the pump from power and close the isolation valves before opening the pump head. Remove the volute bolts, pull the volute clear, and unscrew the impeller anti-clockwise from the motor shaft — it is typically left-hand threaded, so turn clockwise to release. Lift out the old diffuser, seat the new one, thread the new impeller on finger-tight, and reassemble in reverse. The complete swap takes around 20 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver and a strap wrench for the impeller if it is corroded onto the shaft.
