Polaris – Pressure Tester Without Gauge (G35) for 180/280/380

The Polaris G35 Pressure Tester (without gauge) is a genuine OEM diagnostic tool used to measure water pressure delivered through the feed hose of Polaris booster pump-driven pressure-side pool cleaners. It connects in place of the hose at the inlet side of the back-up valve, allowing you to verify that your system is delivering the correct pressure for efficient operation. A compatible PSI gauge (sold separately) must be threaded into the tester to take readings.

Compatibilitat

This tester is designed for the Polaris 180, 280, and 380 pressure-side pool cleaners, and is listed as a special service tool in the official Fluidra exploded-view parts diagram for the Polaris 380 (W7320000). It is not intended for the Polaris 360, which uses a different, larger-diameter hose and its own dedicated tester.

Pressure-side cleaners like the 380 require 28–32 PSI at the feed hose to operate correctly — too little pressure and the cleaner won’t climb walls or clean efficiently; too much can cause erratic movement. An accurate, OEM-quality tester is essential for confident diagnosis and adjustment.

With the booster pump running, remove the feed hose from the inlet side of the back-up valve and attach the pressure tester in its place. Hold the open end of the tester underwater and read the pressure via your separate gauge. Adjust the wall fitting as needed until the system reaches the 28–32 PSI target range for the 180/280/380 models.
