Norsup – ABS Reducer 63mm × 50mm / 1½” Female Thread

This short ABS reducer is a genuine Norsup spare part designed to step down a 63 mm pipe connection to a 50 mm / 1½” female-threaded fitting. It is used during the plumbing installation of the Norsup Supernova UV-C disinfection system, allowing the unit to integrate cleanly into pool pipework of differing diameters.

Compatibilitat

Specifically designed for the Norsup Supernova and Supernova Timer UV-C disinfection units, which feature 50/63 mm glue-socket or glue-spigot connections with 1½” female thread. It is also suitable for use alongside other Supernova accessories such as union couplers and installation grips where a 63-to-50 mm reduction is required in the pipework circuit.

Per què l'autenticitat importa

Using an original Norsup ABS reducer ensures a precise, chemically resistant fit with the Supernova’s housing and associated fittings. ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) offers excellent resistance to pool water chemistry, making it a reliable long-term choice for wet plumbing environments. Genuine parts maintain system integrity and avoid potential leak points from non-standard alternatives.

Instal·lació

The reducer is solvent-welded on the 63 mm side and connects via 1½” female thread on the reduced end. Always use appropriate ABS solvent cement and PTFE thread tape, and ensure the pipeline is depressurised before beginning work. Professional installation is recommended to guarantee a watertight result.
