Hayward – pH Standard Probe with Peristaltic Pump 1.5 l/h

With a dosing flow rate of 1.5 l/h at up to 1.5 bar, this Hayward pH unit combines a calibrated standard pH probe with a quiet peristaltic dosing pump in a single wall-mounted package — suited to indoor pools up to 130 m³ and outdoor pools up to 110 m³. It continuously measures water pH via the probe and doses pH corrector proportionally to the deviation measured, preventing both under- and over-treatment. The all-in-one design integrates directly with Hayward’s EasyChem and ProChem salt-chlorination ecosystems, making it a natural companion for pools already running a Hayward AquaRite or compatible salt chlorinator.

Proportional dosing & chemical control

Rather than simple on/off dosing, the pump adjusts its output in proportion to how far the measured pH deviates from the target set point — a method that avoids the pH swings associated with timed or fixed-output pumps. Single-point calibration at pH 7 keeps commissioning straightforward, and the unit is compatible with the common acidic correctors used in pool treatment, including sulfuric, hydrochloric, and multi-acid formulations.

Peristaltic pump mechanics & maintenance

Peristaltic operation means the chemical never contacts the pump motor or electronics — only the replaceable squeeze tubing handles the dosing fluid. Hayward’s Santoprene® tubing is chemically resistant to concentrated acids and outlasts standard PVC alternatives; when replacement is eventually needed, it is a straightforward, low-cost service task. The pump can also run dry without damage, adding a further layer of reliability in installations where the chemical container occasionally runs empty.

Installation & compatibility

The probe fits a standard bayonet probe holder (supplied in the accessories kit alongside a buffer solution, suction tubing, delivery tubing, foot filter, and injection fittings), allowing installation into most existing bypass or flow-cell assemblies. Power supply is 230 V AC 50/60 Hz, and the unit is designed to mount in a pool plant room or equipment enclosure. It is the recommended pH dosing solution for Hayward salt-chlorination systems without an integrated pH module, such as the Salt & Swim range.
