The Hanna Instruments Security Pool Plus pH is a wall-mounted pH control panel for commercial pool water treatment, supplied under part number BL100-10. It continuously monitors pool water pH and drives a dosing pump to keep the value within the configured setpoint. The unit belongs to Hanna’s BL100 Security Pool Plus panel family, which combines the controller, electrode connection and dosing control in one pre-assembled housing.

The panel is designed for commercial and semi-public pool circuits where pH must be corrected automatically with acid or alkaline dosing. It works with Hanna pH electrodes fitted with the matching panel connection, and controls a compatible dosing pump on the pH line. Check that your existing probe, injection point and sample line match the panel connections before ordering.

Installation position

The controller is mounted on a wall or backing board close to the filtration circuit, downstream of the filter and ahead of the chemical injection point. The pH electrode sits in a flow cell or in-line holder fed by a continuous sample flow of pool water, and the dosing pump is wired to the panel output. Keep the panel dry, out of direct chemical fumes and accessible for calibration.

Service and calibration

The panel itself is a long-life instrument; the consumable element is the pH electrode, which is normally recalibrated at regular service intervals and replaced when response becomes slow or unstable. Use fresh pH 7 and pH 4 buffer solutions for calibration and inspect the flow cell for fouling at the same time. Dosing tubing and injection valves are separate wear items with their own service schedule.

BL100-10 is supplied as the controller panel unit. Electrodes, buffer solutions, flow cells, dosing pumps and installation kits are ordered separately unless explicitly listed with the item. Quote the SKU BL100-10 when ordering to avoid confusion with other Security Pool Plus configurations.
