AstralPool – Pump Pre-Filter Cover (Part No. 1251, Position 2)

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement pre-filter cover (lid) for AstralPool pool pumps listed under spare parts catalogue reference 1251. The pre-filter cover seals the pump’s pre-filter housing, maintaining a watertight chamber around the debris basket and ensuring the pump can prime and circulate water correctly. Replacing a cracked, warped, or leaking cover restores full suction performance and prevents air ingress into the filtration circuit.

Funció i importància

The pre-filter cover is removed during routine maintenance to access and clean the debris basket inside the pump pre-filter. A secure, undamaged lid is critical: even a minor seal failure at this point allows air to enter the suction side of the pump, causing loss of prime, reduced flow, and potential pump damage. This OEM replacement part restores the original fit and pressure integrity of the pre-filter assembly.

Compatibilitat

This cover is listed at position 2 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for AstralPool pool pumps under spare parts catalogue reference 1251. Always cross-reference your pump model number and the exploded-view diagram before ordering to confirm this is the correct part for your installation. If in doubt, contact our team with your pump model and we will verify fitment.

Per què l'autenticitat importa

Genuine AstralPool spare parts are manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original equipment, ensuring a perfect seal against the pre-filter body. Aftermarket lids may differ marginally in thread pitch or sealing surface, leading to leaks or premature failure. Using an official OEM part also keeps your pump warranty intact and guarantees long-term reliability in a demanding pool environment.
