AstralPool – Mechanical Seal Plate for Alaska Basic Pump

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement mechanical seal plate for the Alaska Basic pool pump (parent SKU 69385). The seal plate is the structural component that houses and retains the mechanical seal assembly within the pump’s wet end, providing the critical interface between the rotating shaft and the pump body to prevent water ingress toward the motor. Replacing a worn or damaged seal plate promptly helps protect the motor and maintain pump efficiency.

Compatibilitat

This part is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Alaska Basic pump range (parent SKU 69385), which covers models 69383, 69384, 69385, 69386, and 69387 — single-phase 230 V / 50 Hz pumps suited to both above-ground and in-ground pools. Always verify your pump’s model number on the motor label before ordering. This part corresponds to position 15 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for the Alaska Basic.

Per què l'autenticitat importa

As a genuine Fluidra/AstralPool part, this seal plate is manufactured to the exact tolerances required for a leak-free seal seat. Aftermarket alternatives may differ slightly in dimensions or material grade, risking premature seal failure or accelerated wear on the pump shaft. Using an OEM part also keeps your pump within manufacturer specifications and supports any applicable warranty.

Instal·lació

Replacement of the mechanical seal plate requires draining the pump, disassembling the wet end, and removing the impeller and existing seal assembly. Professional installation by a qualified pool technician is strongly recommended to ensure correct torque and alignment. Always replace the mechanical seal itself at the same time as the seal plate for best results and longest service life.
